Dear Delphic Brothers,

First, we hope that 2016 finds everyone well.  Our historic fraternity has accomplished much in the past year, and we hope to find continued success in the New Year.

Four students at the State University of New York – Delhi campus officially began the pledge process on December 19, 2015.  We were able to take advantage of this expansion opportunity due to the efforts of re-establishing brother Gilbert DeLeon, who has made consistent contributions to the Delphic fraternity for almost three decades.  In addition, on October 19, 2015, three young professionals began the pledge process for the Tau Alpha Graduate Chapter, which is based in the New York City metropolitan area.  This marks the first time Delphic has pledged individuals not in a college setting.  Lastly, two pledges remain at Lincoln University, as one unfortunately dropped out during the process.  All three pledge lines are scheduled to be initiated on February 6, 2016 in New Paltz, NY.  If you would like to participate in the pledge process of the two undergraduate lines, please contact the Vice President of Organizational Expansion, Alvin “Luv Doctor” Gordon, at alvinagordon@hotmail.com.  If you would like to participate in the pledge process for the graduate chapter line, please contact the Executive Vice President, Phil “Valley Boy” Velez at philvelez@gmail.com.

We have opened an official non-profit organization bank account with Wells Fargo.  Starting with the next quarterly report, we will provide an accounting of our quarterly income and expenses in order to provide maximum financial transparency to our general membership.  If you would like to make a monetary contribution to the fraternity, please send checks to the Vice President of Finance, Yizhou “Chunky-ng” Jing at 108-F Melbourne Park Cir, Apt F, Charlottesville, VA 22901.  Please make checks payable to “The Delphic Fraternity, Inc.”

Since our fraternity is on track to have more than two active chapters for the first time since the early 20th century, the Executive Board plans to host a Delphic Convention in the spring.  This will be an opportunity to bring together all of the chapters and to standardize chapter operations across the board.  The date is tentatively set for April 22, 2016, and the location is tentatively set for Reston, VA.  Please be on the look-out for more details as they are finalized.  All active and alumni brothers are welcome to attend.

As you can see, there are many exciting things in the works right now.  We fully expect 2016 to be a breakout year for the Delphic fraternity.  We look forward to inform you of additional successes next quarter.

As always, it is an honor and pleasure to serve our historic fraternity.

Fraternally,

The Delphic Executive Board
